WORLD DAY OF PRAYER – Service will take place in the Presbyterian Church, Tandragee on Friday 6th March at 8pm. Everyone is welcome, male and female, to attend and enjoy being part of a great wave of prayer observed by an estimated three million people in 170 countries over a 36 hour period. The theme of the service is “Rise, take your mat and walk,” (John 5:2-9) written by the women of Zimbabwe as they encourage us to reflect on the difficulties and unrest that have plagued their country over many years.

ANNUAL LENTEN LUNCH will be held in the Parish Hall following the 11am Service on Sunday 8th March 2020. S-Club members will be helping at the lunch and will also be providing entertainment. Please come along and support the S-Club.

FLOWER FESTIVAL in Ballymore Parish Church from 8th – 10th May 2020 as part of the 75th Anniversary of VE Day celebrations. The theme is “Let there be Peace”. We have contacted local shops and businesses asking for support with the sponsorship of the flowers and have received a great response. Parish families may also wish to sponsor flowers and some may wish to do so in memory of a loved one or to celebrate a significant life event like a baptism or wedding anniversary. If you would be interested in being associated with the Flower Festival through making a donation, your name would be included on the printed programme for the weekend and also on a notice board in the Church and Parish Hall. If you would like to do this please include your details on a piece of paper and give it and your donation to the Churchwardens. Many thanks.

THANK YOU: The Scott family would like to thank the Rector and parishioners for all their support and kindness during Valerie’s illness. A special thank you to all who helped in any way in the days following her untimely death – those who helped at the home, the Vestry members who helped seat the large numbers at the funeral, those who oversaw the car parking and the catering team. This was so much appreciated by us all.   Noa, Dorothy and family

MARY & MARTHA MINISTRIES: Praise and Fellowship Morning on Saturday 7th March 2020 from 10am – 1pm in Richhill Presbyterian Church. Topic: Women of Worth. (Proverbs 31:30b). Speaker: Marion Reid. To help with catering arrangements, if you would like to attend, please register early – Tel: (028) 3887 1508 or 07909 538688. Cost £5, which includes refreshments.

SAFEGUARDING TRUST: Our Parish is committed to the Church of Ireland Safeguarding Trust policy which sets standards for the welfare of all children involved in the ministry of the church with a view to protecting them. The parish panel members to whom any concerns can be brought to are the Rector, Garry Morton and Mrs Ann Poole. Their contact details are displayed on the notice boards in the Church and Parish Hall.

HOSPITAL VISITING: Please inform the Rector if you are going into hospital or you are aware of any parishioner who has been admitted and would appreciate a visit. Due to patient confidentiality clergy no longer have access to the denominational list of patients and are therefore often unaware of parishioners having been admitted to hospital. It would also be appreciated if the Rector could be notified when those in hospital are discharged or transferred to another hospital. Thanks.

WEEKLY ANNOUNCEMENT SHEET: Information and articles to be included on the weekly announcement sheet should be sent to the Parish email address by Thursday evening. Thanks

SICK & BEREAVED: If you know of any parishioners who have been unwell recently, bereaved or who would appreciate a home visit please let the Rector know.
