All boxes from Ballymore should be brought to Church before Sunday 3rd November. You will find leaflets with information about what to include in your shoebox on the table in the Church porch. Your help and support with this project is very much appreciated.

LIGHT & HOPE GROUP: Within the Parish of Ballymore, there are a large number of people who are living with life-changing illnesses. This can lead to isolation, loneliness and a general feeling of bewilderment. Whilst the church can provide pastoral care and prayer support, there are also a number of other things that can be done to help improve the quality of life for people thus affected. It has been suggested that a group could be formed to encourage both sufferers and families to come together for fellowship and friendship and to provide support, inspiration and a place to talk. We plan to hold our first meeting in the Parish Room on Friday 4th October 2019 at 10.30am. The invitation is open to both those with life-changing illnesses and their families. It should be remembered that not all conditions are apparent or visible. We can and will be of help to one another. If you are aware of individuals who perhaps don’t belong to Ballymore but could benefit from membership of such a group, please do invite them and assure them of a warm welcome. Tom Gorringe
