A special thank you to Emo Overend for co-ordinating and planning the whole event and to guest artistes Men in Black Gospel Group, Paul Berry and Amy Eakin. Thanks to Graham Patterson for compering the evening, also to the members of the Catering Group for providing and serving the supper, and to those who supervised the car park. The special collection at the end of the evening raised over £1700. Well done! A cheque for £1500 was presented to a representative of the Motor Neurone Disease Association with the remaining money going to Parish Funds. Thank you for your support.

FLOWER FESTIVAL in Ballymore Parish Church from 8th – 10th May 2020 as part of the 75th Anniversary of VE Day celebrations. The theme is “Let there be Peace”. As well as the flowers and lunch and refreshments being available in the Parish Hall, we are also hoping to have some old military vehicles and memorabilia. Please put the date in your diary and keep it free as we will need lots of volunteers to help with catering, the car park, guides etc. An event of this magnitude also carries with it a significant financial cost. We have contacted local shops and businesses asking for support with the sponsorship of the flowers and have received a great response. Parish families may also wish to sponsor flowers and some may wish to do so in memory of a loved one or to celebrate a significant life event like a baptism or wedding anniversary. If you would be interested in being associated with the Flower Festival through making a donation, your name would be included on the printed programme for the weekend and also on a notice board in the Church and Parish Hall. If you would like to do this please include your details on a piece of paper and give it and your donation to the Churchwardens. Many thanks.
AMBASSADOR DIOCESAN MAGAZINE: payment of £7.50 for the “Ambassador” is now due for 2020/21 to be paid to Joanne Craig before the end of February. Thank you.

Under new legislation adopted by the Diocesan Synod in October 2016 and approved by the Representative Body in December 2016 “any person registered or claiming to be registered as a resident or an accustomed member, must be an annual subscriber of a sum not less than £50 per annum to the Sustentation Fund of the Parish of which he or she wishes to be a vestry member. Such subscription must be paid either through regular giving or as a single donation.
