Prize Giving is next Sunday, when we will celebrate the achievements of the children in our Sunday School in Ballymore. S-Club will also then meet on Sunday 10th and Sunday 24th June before finishing for the summer. It will then recommence on Sunday 9th September. Anyone who would be willing to help with S-Club should speak to Wendy or the Rector as soon as possible to enable the Access NI paperwork to be completed in advance of the new season. Thanks.

Will meet tomorrow evening at 8pm in the Parish Room.

Many of you may know of the “Thy Kingdom Come” initiative begun a couple of years ago by the Archbishop of Canterbury. During the ten days between Ascension Day and Pentecost, Christians around the world are asked to give special time and attention to prayer that God’s Kingdom might become ever more apparent and that God’s will might be done on earth as in heaven. Parishioners are therefore asked to pray especially during the ten days (10th – 20th May) for the world and the extension of God’s kingdom. Church is open each day from 9am to 4pm for private prayer.

20th Mrs Ann Poole and 27th Mrs Sally Adamson.

Back in September 2015 we started the massive task of updating our Parish database and since then we have tried to contact all our parishioners to make sure that we have the most up to date and accurate contact details for them. There are still a number of Family Information Forms which have not been returned. Recently we sent out a letter to all those households that had not yet returned a form. Due to the new General Data Protection Regulation which comes into force on 25th May we need signed Family Information Forms for everyone associated with the Parish in order to allow us to hold your details within the Parish Registers. Any information held by the Parish will be for Parish use only and will not be shared with any other organisation. Any outstanding forms need to be returned by 20th May 2018. If a form is not returned we will have to assume that you do not wish to be on our Parish list and your name will be removed, therefore it is vitally important to complete the paperwork. Forms can be returned to the Churchwardens or any member of the Select Vestry. Thanks.

If you know of any parishioners who have been unwell recently, bereaved or who would appreciate a home visit please let the Rector know.

Almighty God, your ascended Son has sent us into the world
to preach the good news of your kingdom: inspire us with your Spirit and fill our hearts with the fire of your love, that all who hear your Word may be drawn to you, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
