CLARE PARISH CHURCH
Clare Parish will be celebrating the refurbishment of their Church building this evening with a special Service at 7pm. Everyone welcome.

THANK YOU!
Many thanks for your warm welcome back after my visit to Zimbabwe and Swaziland. I was grateful to God, everyday, for my health, safekeeping, enjoyment and for the thoughts and prayers of my Ballymore family. I was surprised and very touched to receive such a generous total amount from several sources…the Select Vestry, individual gifts and the retiring collection from the Gospel Concert.

I divided the money equally and donated it as follows to:-

  • Canon Orma Mavimbela for the work of her four Care Points, where children and young people are fed after school;
  • Frances Takis, a deacon in the Anglican Church, who supports many poor, infirm, elderly people in the community.
  • Mnyokane Anglican Primary School, where I helped with English teaching, for uniforms for the poorest pupils in this rural area.
  • Sikholiwe, the inspirational organiser of wide-ranging work of Scripture Union in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, including outreach to teenage boys living on the streets, a rural home for young people, where the growing of crops is being developed, as an income-generating activity.

All the recipients are deeply grateful to their ‘Christian brothers and sisters’ in St. Mark’s, Ballymore, for their loving support.

SICK & BEREAVED
If you know of any parishioners who have been unwell recently, bereaved or who would appreciate a home visit please let the Rector know.
